It's been a long time since I smiled.
All my life I'm waiting,
I don't know why I persist doing this
When I can move on and keep going.

Last night I dreamed about you and me
we're together in a swarming sea
Only you are there to comfort me
And protect me from the cold on sea

One of us is gone,
And it's hard to say,
"Why did he have to go away?"

I felt something inside

and I’m not kidding aside.

If I could sit amongst the clouds
those mountains of whip cream
If I could sit amongst the clouds
It would surely be a dream
