It was only an accident.
It's sad but true.
Tom is gone, and, God, he is with you.

It came as a shock
To all of us.
Why did you take him away?

So young and so sweet.
He would never do a thing
To hurt a person in any way.

I didn't really know him,
But I could've if he were here.
He seems like a great guy from all that I hear.

He's touched many people.
He was everyone's friend.
Everywhere he went, he would always fit in.

God, grieve for the family
Whose son you took away.
Be with them today, forever, and always.

Help us through
And lead the way.
Please make all this pain just go away.

We know he's in heaven
Up there above.
We want him to know he'll always be loved.

He'll be in our hearts,
Be remembered forever
By all of his family and all of his friends.

I guess it was his time.
There's nothing we can do,
But say these last words,
"We love you, but God loves you, too."
