Đây là chương trình Anh Ngữ Sinh động New Dynamic English bài 57. Phạm Văn xin kính chào quí vị thính giả. Trong bài học này, trước hết, quí vị nghe phần Story Interlude—câu chuyện giữa bài—Anne, bạn của Kathy, dọn nhà tới San Diego.  Sau đó quí vị nghe Mike Epstein nói với bà xếp của ông là Ms. Graham về việc mua người máy điện tử của hãng International Robotics qua ông Blake.

Larry: And...we’re off the air.
Kathy: Say, Max, you’re from California.
Max: That’s right.
Kathy: Have you ever been to San Diego?
Max: Yes, I have. Why do you ask?
Kathy: Do you remember my friend Anne?
I’m going to dinner with her this weekend.
Max: Oh, yes. I remember.
Kathy: Well, she’s moving to San Diego next month.
Max: Really?
Kathy: Yes. Her company is sending her there.
She’s very excited, but she wants to know what it’s like.
Max: Well, San Diego is a beautiful city.
It’s near the ocean.
And there are lots of nice restaurants and museums.
Kathy: I’ve heard they have a great zoo.
Max: That’s right. The San Diego Zoo is world famous!
Kathy: But it’s an expensive city, isn’t it?
Max: Yes, it is. But it’s not as expensive as San Francisco or New York.
And it has great weather!
It’s always warm and sunny!
Kathy: Well, Anne’s looking forward to moving there.
Max: Hey, I think I have a San Diego guidebook in my office.
Come on, let me get it for you.
You can give it to your friend.

Bài học hôm nay là Confirming plans, Part 2—Xác nhận các dự tính, phần 2. Hôm nay chúng ta tiếp tục chương trình về những buổi họp và thương lượng. Chúng ta nghe ba người. So I was a little nervous about the meeting.
Eliz: I understand (pause). Well,  thank you very much for being on our show today.
Epstein: It’s been my pleasure.
Eliz: Let’s take a short break.
